Vascular

Care for veins, arteries and circulation, from leg swelling to varicose veins, connected to your everyday health.

What this specialty covers

Common conditions & services

Your Moaddel Medical provider can evaluate these concerns first, with in-office screening Doppler and ABI checks, then coordinate vascular care with a specialty partner when you need it.

  • Lymphedema
  • Varicose veins
  • Venous insufficiency
  • Peripheral artery disease (PAD)
  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
  • Leg swelling, heaviness & cramping

Urgent: DVT symptoms such as sudden leg swelling, pain, or chest pain or shortness of breath need emergency care or 911.

Specialty care is provided by independent partner specialists. Services listed are examples and may vary.

How we coordinate your care

One team, from first visit to follow-up

You start and finish with us, so nothing falls through the cracks.

  1. Start with a primary care visit

Your Moaddel Medical provider listens to your symptoms, examines your legs and circulation and reviews your history. Screening Doppler and ABI (ankle-brachial index) checks are done right in our office.

  2. See a partner specialist

Confirmation testing and vein mapping are referred to a trusted vascular clinic, and we share your records. Venous leg ulcers are cared for at our sister practice, Royal Wound Care (opens in a new tab).

  3. Follow up at Moaddel Medical

We review the results and the specialist’s findings with you, adjust your plan and keep all of your care connected in one place.
